how we do it at Stier

You tell us what’s coming: apartment, floor, how many boxes, whether anything needs to be assembled. We ask, listen – and make a fair, fixed offer from it. Black on white.

And the best thing: On moving day itself, there are no discussions about extras. The only thing you might still have to do: Put on coffee. We’ll take care of the rest.

Berlin Fixed-price Move

Is a fixed price
worth it for a move?

In short: Yes. Especially if you don’t want to watch the clock. Those who bill by the hour quickly start to worry if the elevator breaks down or the sofa suddenly gets stuck. With a fixed-price move, we take the risk – and you have your mind free for the important things.

A real-life example: A family from Neukölln moves to Charlottenburg. Three rooms, no elevator, many books. Instead of counting hours, they discussed everything with us beforehand – and in the end didn’t pay a cent more than agreed. Exactly how it should be.

  • Secure kitchen & disconnect technology
  • Final cleaning of the old apartment
  • Intermediate storage, if needed

And if you’re not sure what you need: We’ll figure it out together.

With a Berlin Fixed-price Move

What does a fixed-price move actually cost?

It depends a bit on your situation. Two rooms or five? 3rd floor without elevator or ground floor with ramp? The more we know, the more accurate our offer.

Typical cost factors:

  • Size of the apartment
  • Distance between old & new
  • Bulky furniture or special tasks
  • Number of helpers and time required
  • Extras like no-parking zones or assembly

Our tip: Feel free to ask us questions – better once more. Then you definitely won’t pay more than necessary.

Fixed price despite urgency – is that possible?

Even when it’s urgent, we won’t leave you hanging. Of course, a fixed-price move is also possible at short notice – if capacities are still available. Just contact us quickly, then we’ll see what’s feasible.

Fixed price. Done. Moved.

A move is already enough change. You don’t need uncertainty about the price too. With us, you don’t just move – you arrive safely.

Let us help make the first day in your new home a little more relaxed.

FAQ: Fixed-price move

Quite simple: You tell us what needs to be done – we ask again for details to be sure. Then you receive a binding offer with a fixed price. On moving day, it stays at that amount, no matter how long it takes. Fair, isn’t it?

Usually: transport, two to three experienced movers, packaging material as needed, arrival and departure. If you need something additional, like furniture assembly or no-parking zones, we calculate that transparently – beforehand, not afterward.

Not always, but often. Especially when the move takes longer than planned. Then the fixed price is doubly worthwhile. Many customers say later: “Good that we arranged that beforehand – it was more relaxed that way.”

Best two to four weeks in advance – especially if you want to move on a weekend or at the end of the month. For spontaneous requests, we of course do our best – sometimes it works even the next day.
